A quick tip for you this week!
Do you use the private comments feature in Google Classroom? If not, you SHOULD! By their very nature, private comments allow for a conversation between you and the students, providing for awesome feedback opportunities!
Private comments can also be used to share links to enrichment material, videos to help reinforce the learning, and more. But in order to make the link “live” (or clickable) for the student, you need to be sure to do it correctly.
- Wrong: nwoca.org
- Right: http://nwoca.org
You’ll need to put the http:// or https:// in front of the URL in order for Classroom to recognize it as a live link.
